(Dan Tri) – Executive Director of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zoritsa Urosevic affirmed that Vietnam said the organization is considering the possibility of organizing a major international event in Vietnam by the end of 2023.

On the afternoon of March 2, within the framework of his visit to Spain, at UNWTO headquarters in Madrid, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang had a meeting with UNWTO Executive Director Zoritsa Urosevic.
At the meeting, Ms. Urosevic appreciated the close cooperation between UNWTO and Vietnam.
The UNWTO Executive Director highly appreciated Vietnam’s active and responsible participation in UNWTO;
She affirmed that Vietnam has great potential for tourism development and is a favorite destination for citizens of many countries;
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang welcomed the important role of UNWTO and the individual Executive Director in promoting global tourism recovery to contribute to sustainable and equitable socio-economic development.
