Developed from the famous Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Grand Order is a turn-based strategy game, where players take on the role of Masters and summon Servants to fight opponents.
Fate/Grand Order grossed $982 million in 2017, making it the sixth highest-grossing mobile game of the year.
As of October 2018, the game, available in five languages across ten countries, has received a total of 32 million downloads worldwide, surpassing Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
What happened in the world of Fate/Grand Order?
Fate/Grand Order is set in 2015, the Chaldea Security Organization has recruited many experts to observe the future of humanity to predict possible apocalyptic events.
Its cause is unknown but is linked to the Japanese town of Fuyuki and the 2004 events of the Fifth Holy War in Fate/Stay Night.
After the events in Fuyuki, Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight were forced to take over all of the Holy Grails.
Along the way, Ritsuka encounters the main antagonist and mastermind behind the plan to eradicate humanity – the Sorcerer King Solomon.
